To support its growth, it is looking for its future Product Laboratory Project Manager Saudi Arabian F/M on a permanent contract, based in Aix-en-Provence or Saudi Arabian
🔎Your Responsibilities
The Laboratory Project Manager oversees the transfer, setup, and operational launch of a mobile phone testing laboratory in Saudi Arabia.
He/She coordinates the transfer of equipment, methods, and expertise from existing laboratories in France and China, ensuring technical continuity, quality compliance, and operational excellence.
This position plays a key role in establishing a reference laboratory for product certification, validation, and performance testing
Main Responsibilities :
- Laboratory Transfer Management
- Plan and supervise the transfer of testing equipment from current sites (France and China).
- Ensure that local installations meet all technical and safety standards (electrical, EMC, environmental, calibration).
- Oversee dismantling, shipping, reinstallation, and recalibration of testing benches and measuring instruments.
- Guarantee full traceability and technical documentation for all transferred equipment
- Laboratory Setup and Qualification
- Define physical layout, workflows, infrastructure, and safety requirements.
- Manage relationships with local contractors (construction, logistics, calibration, certification).
- Ensure initial qualification of the laboratory (IQ/OQ/PQ) in line with Group standards.
- Define preventive maintenance and metrology plans.
- Test Procedures and Reporting
- Define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all test activities.
- Develop detailed test plans and ensure alignment with Group methodologies.
- Supervise the execution and documentation of validation, reliability, and certification tests.
- Consolidate and analyze test data to identify trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare clear, structured test reports for internal stakeholders, management, and certification partners.
- International Coordination
- Serve as the operational link between laboratories in France, China, and Saudi Arabia.
- Organize skill transfer programs, technical documentation, and training.
- Coordinate travel and support of experts from other sites.
- Harmonize methods and tools across laboratories to ensure consistency.
- Project Management
- Lead the overall project timeline, milestones, budget, and risk management.
- Provide regular reporting to Group management.
- Anticipate resource, equipment, and budgetary needs.
- Ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery throughout the transfer process.
- Local and Institutional Interface
- Coordinate interactions with local authorities, customs, and certification bodies.
- Secure importation of sensitive equipment (measurement instruments, RF devices).
- Represent society with local technical partners and institutional stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation
- Propose improvements to enhance laboratory efficiency and performance.
- Establish KPIs for laboratory activity and quality monitoring.
- Promote best practices in safety, metrology, and traceability.
🎯 Profile
Education: Engineering degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Physical Measurements, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in technical project management, ideally involving laboratory setup or transfer.
- Experience in telecom, electronic, or medical testing laboratories (with measurement, calibration, or ISO/IEC compliance) is highly relevant.
- International experience preferred (Europe / Asia / Middle East).
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of measurement systems (EMC, RF, climatic, mechanical, or electrical testing).
- Understanding of qualification and calibration processes.
- Strong project management expertise (planning, budgeting, risk control).
- Familiarity with ISO certifications, or equivalent standards.
- General understanding of technical infrastructure (HVAC, electrical safety, calibration, data systems).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong project leadership and multicultural coordination abilities

- Ability to manage priorities and operate under tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills

Languages:
- English: fluent (spoken and written)
- Arabic: professional or native level (strong asset)
